About
This is a community package of Tine, maintained independently and unaffiliated with the Tine project. It repackages the official upstream Linux build unmodified.
Tine is a fast, local-first outliner that reads and writes a real Logseq Markdown (and Org) graph on disk. It aims to feel like — and round-trip with — Logseq, so you can swap between the two on the same files.
- An outliner with tasks, priorities and journals.
- Page and block references, with backlinks.
- Queries with a visual builder.
- PDF and media viewing, with image and audio support.
- HTML export of your graph.
- Reads and writes the same Markdown/Org files as Logseq.
Permissions: this package keeps a tight sandbox by default — display, GPU and audio only. Your graph is opened through the desktop portal's file picker, so Tine reaches exactly the folder you choose and nothing else; no filesystem access is pre-granted, and no network access is given, since Tine is local-first and updates arrive through Flatpak. Tine's own settings live inside the sandbox under ~/.var/app/page.tine.Tine. To let Tine open a graph directly without the picker — for example a Logseq graph you sync elsewhere — grant it with flatpak override --user --filesystem=~/path/to/graph page.tine.Tine.
