Voltius

This is a community package of Voltius, maintained independently and unaffiliated with the Voltius project. It repackages the official upstream .deb unmodified and follows upstream releases automatically.

Voltius is a local-first SSH, SFTP and serial client — an open-source alternative to Termius. Hosts, keys and identities live in an encrypted vault that you can sync end-to-end encrypted through storage you own.

• SSH terminals with split panes and input broadcast; sessions that survive disconnects and restarts.
• SFTP between hosts and your machine, with drag and drop.
• End-to-end encrypted sync through a GitHub Gist, a Cloudflare Worker or any S3-compatible bucket.
• One-click import from Termius and MobaXterm; export as open JSON.
• Docker and Proxmox LXC management, a process manager and live host stats.
• Plugins, and an optional local MCP server for AI coding tools.

Permissions: this package follows the upstream .deb. It grants network access, the GPU, the Secret Service for stored credentials, your ssh-agent, your home folder (for ~/.ssh and the local side of SFTP) and all devices (for serial ports). From the release after 0.42.0, the local terminal tab opens your login shell on the host system through flatpak-spawn --host, which gives it the same access as a terminal outside the sandbox.
