About

This is a community package of Beeper, maintained independently and not endorsed by Automattic. It repackages the official upstream Linux build unmodified.

Beeper brings your chats from WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Instagram, Messenger, X, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack, Google Messages and more into one inbox.

  • One searchable inbox across every network
  • Unread, low-priority and archive views, reminders and snooze
  • Voice messages, reactions, replies and attachments
  • End-to-end encrypted chats stay encrypted
  • Also available for macOS, Windows, Android and iOS

A Beeper account is required. Attachments saved without a dialog go to your Downloads folder; any other location is chosen through the file-chooser portal. Your login and encryption keys are kept in the desktop keyring.

One permission is deliberately withheld and can be granted if you want it:

  • Webcam, for taking a photo in the app: flatpak override --user --device=all com.automattic.Beeper
  • Undo it: flatpak override --user --reset com.automattic.Beeper
