About
This is a community package of Mockoon, maintained independently. It repackages the official upstream build unmodified.
Mockoon lets you create mock APIs and run them locally in seconds, with no remote deployment and no account. It offers:
- Unlimited mock servers and routes, with templated, rule-based and file-served responses.
- Request recording, logs and a proxy mode that forwards unmatched routes to a real API.
- OpenAPI import and export.
- Simulated latency, errors and CRUD routes backed by data buckets.
The package has network access so the mock servers can listen on local ports and the proxy can reach real APIs. It has no filesystem grant: environments are stored in the application's private per-app directory, and environment and OpenAPI files are opened and saved through the file chooser portal.
To serve response files from a folder on disk, grant that folder: flatpak override --user --filesystem=/path/to/folder com.mockoon.app. Remove custom grants with flatpak override --user --reset com.mockoon.app.
Updates come through Flatpak. If the application says a new version is available, update with Flatpak instead.
