Weixin

This is a community package that repackages the official Weixin (WeChat) Linux client from Tencent, unmodified. It is not verified by, affiliated with, or supported by Tencent, Inc.

How it differs from WeChat on Flathub: it is the same client under a different app id (com.tencent.weixin), with its own data directory, so you can run it next to com.tencent.WeChat and sign in to a second account. Both get their own tray icon. Installed alone, it works as a normal WeChat client.

这是社区打包的官方微信 Linux 客户端，未做修改，与腾讯公司无关联。它和 Flathub 上的微信是同一个客户端，但用了不同的应用 ID 和独立的数据目录， 可以与 Flathub 版微信同时运行、登录第二个账号（双开），两边各有托盘图标。

Chat data is kept in ~/.var/app/com.tencent.weixin/. The package has camera, microphone and GPU access for calls; to restrict it run: flatpak override --user --nodevice=all com.tencent.weixin
