About

Universal Android Debloater Next Generation uses ADB to list, disable, uninstall and restore apps on non-rooted Android devices. It provides package descriptions, search, multiple-device and multiple-user support, and snapshots of package states.

This community package runs the official Linux build without self-updates, unmodified. Google's Android Platform Tools are downloaded separately at install time to provide ADB. FlatPark tracks new UAD-ng releases.

Enable USB debugging on your device and authorize this computer. USB access also depends on your host's device permissions. Removing essential packages can prevent Android from booting; back up your device and read the upstream documentation first.

ADB authorization keys are kept in this package's private data directory. Wireless pairing and connection are available with flatpak run --command=adb io.github.Universal_Debloater_Alliance.uad_ng pair ADDRESS:PORT and flatpak run --command=adb io.github.Universal_Debloater_Alliance.uad_ng connect ADDRESS:PORT.

Selection files are imported and exported in ~/.var/app/io.github.Universal_Debloater_Alliance.uad_ng/data/selection_export.txt. To choose a backup folder in Documents, enable flatpak override --user --filesystem=xdg-documents io.github.Universal_Debloater_Alliance.uad_ng. Undo this with flatpak override --user --nofilesystem=xdg-documents io.github.Universal_Debloater_Alliance.uad_ng.
