About
DrawX is an offline-first brainstorming and whiteboard application. It provides an infinite canvas powered by Excalidraw, a shape and text toolkit, a library of saved elements, and local-first storage: every canvas stays on your device.
This is DrawX's own Flatpak package, published by its developer: it unpacks the official upstream Linux .deb unmodified into the Flatpak sandbox, and updates follow upstream releases automatically.
Notes on this package:
- New canvases and settings live inside the app's sandboxed HOME.
- The sandbox has no filesystem access: opening or saving a drawing elsewhere goes through the file-chooser portal.
- Network access serves the app's built-in update check and its error reporting; no canvas content leaves the device.
- Updates arrive through this Flatpak remote with flatpak update; the app's built-in update check can't install anything inside the sandbox.
