WHPH

This is a community package of WHPH (Work Hard Play Hard), maintained independently and unaffiliated with the WHPH project. It repackages the official upstream Linux release unmodified and follows upstream releases automatically.

WHPH is a productivity app that keeps tasks, habits, notes and time tracking in one place, stored locally on your device.

• Tasks with subtasks, priorities, deadlines, recurrence and tags.
• Habit tracking with streaks, statistics and "bad habit" tracking.
• Markdown notes and a focus timer.
• Time and app-usage statistics.
• Device-to-device sync with no cloud account, and an optional, off-by-default MCP server for AI assistants.

Permissions: this package grants the display, the GPU, audio (timer and reminder sounds), network access (device sync) and the tray. Your data stays inside the sandbox; imports and exports go through the file chooser.

App-usage tracking needs to know which window is focused, which a sandboxed app cannot see on most desktops. This package follows the permission set of upstream's own Flathub build, so tracking is limited and the app shows a notice when it cannot work. On KDE Plasma it can be enabled with flatpak override --user --talk-name=org.kde.KWin --talk-name=org.kde.kwin.Scripting me.ahmetcetinkaya.whph, and on GNOME with flatpak override --user --talk-name=org.gnome.Shell me.ahmetcetinkaya.whph. Tasks, habits, notes and the timer are unaffected.
