Fluent Reader

This is a community package of Fluent Reader, maintained independently. It repackages the official upstream Linux build unmodified.

Fluent Reader is a local, cross-platform news aggregator with a fresh look. Bring all your favorite sources with you and read distraction-free.

• A modern interface inspired by the Fluent Design System, with full dark mode support
• Read locally, or sync with a self-hosted or hosted RSS service
• Import and export OPML files, and back up or restore all application data
• Read the full content in the built-in article view, or load web pages by default
• Search articles with regular expressions, or filter by read status
• Organize subscriptions into groups
• Single-key keyboard shortcuts
• Hide, mark as read or star articles automatically as they arrive, with regular expression rules
• Fetch articles in the background and get notified

This package uses the same app id as the earlier Flathub build, so feeds and settings from that build are kept when you install it.
