Comfy Desktop

Comfy Desktop installs and manages independent ComfyUI environments for generative AI workflows, with bundled Python, PyTorch and GPU packages, snapshots and updates.

This community package downloads the official upstream .deb unmodified. Flatpak updates the desktop app; ComfyUI environments are managed by the app.

The app can access all devices for NVIDIA CUDA inference. A compatible host NVIDIA driver and matching Flatpak NVIDIA driver extension are required. Custom nodes requiring a host compiler or CUDA toolkit are not supported by default.

Models, inputs and generated images are kept in ~/ComfyUI-Shared in your home folder. ComfyUI environments and download caches persist in this app's private storage. To use models or an existing installation elsewhere, grant that directory: flatpak override --user --filesystem=/path/to/models org.comfy.ComfyDesktop. Undo overrides with flatpak override --user --reset org.comfy.ComfyDesktop.
