About
Browse and download the photos and movies on your Canon EOS camera, watch a live view of what the camera sees, and control it remotely — all over WiFi, the same way Canon's own EOS Utility does.
With Canon EOS Utility for Linux you can:
- See what's on the camera's memory card as a gallery of thumbnails
- Download a selection, or everything at once, resuming if the connection drops
- Watch Live View and click to focus (touch-to-focus)
- Fire the shutter remotely and adjust ISO, shutter speed, aperture and white balance
- Organise downloads with flexible file-naming templates
- Connect automatically when the camera appears on the network
Works with any Canon EOS body that offers the "Remote control (EOS Utility)" WiFi mode, including the EOS R series and older WiFi DSLRs.
This is a community package that repackages the official upstream build unmodified. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Canon.
