AFFiNE

This is a community package of AFFiNE, maintained independently and unaffiliated with AFFiNE or TOEVERYTHING PTE. LTD. It repackages the official upstream Linux build unmodified.

AFFiNE is a local-first, open-source workspace that fully merges docs, whiteboards and databases — a single hyper-fused editor for writing, drawing and planning, with an AI partner. It is an alternative to tools like Notion and Miro.

• Local-first: your workspace stays on your machine, with optional sync to AFFiNE Cloud or a self-hosted server.

Permissions: this package keeps a tight sandbox by default — network, display, GPU, audio and notifications. Importing and exporting files goes through the desktop portal, so no broad filesystem access is granted; the workspace lives inside the sandbox at ~/.config/AFFiNE.
