Elasticvue

This is a community package of Elasticvue, maintained independently. It repackages the official upstream build unmodified.

Elasticvue is an open-source graphical client for managing Elasticsearch and OpenSearch clusters.

• Inspect cluster overviews and shard information.
• Manage indices and aliases.
• Browse, search and edit documents.
• Write and run requests in a REST query editor.
• Manage snapshots and repositories.

By default, this package has network access for cluster connections and access to your Downloads directory for exporting query results and documents. Elasticvue settings, connection information and other application data stay in its private per-app directory.

To access files in another directory, grant only that location: flatpak override --user --filesystem=/path/to/data com.elasticvue.app. To expose the whole home directory, opt in with flatpak override --user --filesystem=home com.elasticvue.app. Remove custom grants with flatpak override --user --reset com.elasticvue.app.

Install application updates through Flatpak; the built-in updater cannot replace the read-only Flatpak application.
