Mixtapes

Mixtapes is a Linux-first YouTube Music player built with GTK4 and Libadwaita. Search for music, manage playlists, follow synced lyrics, download tracks and control playback through your desktop's media controls.

This is a community package of the official upstream Linux build, unmodified, with pinned yt-dlp and Node helpers. Mixtapes is alpha software and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

Optional integrations are not granted by default:

• Pause for other media players: flatpak override --user --talk-name=org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.* com.pocoguy.Muse
• Discord Rich Presence: flatpak override --user --filesystem=xdg-run/app/com.discordapp.Discord --filesystem=xdg-run/discord-ipc-0 com.pocoguy.Muse
• Music stored elsewhere: flatpak override --user --filesystem=/path/to/music com.pocoguy.Muse
• Reset optional permissions: flatpak override --user --reset com.pocoguy.Muse
